A green oasis in the heart of Nairobi

The German School Nairobi is located in Gigiri, right across from the Village Market, one of the city’s best-known malls. Beneath the shade of old jacaranda trees and surrounded by tropical plants, our spacious campus offers plenty of room to learn, play, and grow.

Our campus is a safe and welcoming space where children can move freely, make friends, and experience community. In addition to modern classrooms and specialist facilities, the school features a large sports field with spectator stands, a beach volleyball court, basketball and tennis courts, and a swimming pool. Five different playgrounds – with in-ground trampolines, climbing frames, swings, and even a rabbit enclosure – invite children to explore and have fun.

Sustainability plays a major role at DSN: over 90 percent of our electricity comes from our own solar power system.
Families and members of the school association are also welcome to use the facilities outside school hours – for playing, training, or simply relaxing under the trees.
