School Clinic

The German School Nairobi has a bright, welcoming school clinic staffed by two qualified and friendly nurses who are available throughout the school day to care for our students.Their background in hospital care, first aid training, and child psychology helps them support not only the physical but also the emotional wellbeing of every child.

If a child feels unwell or gets injured, teachers bring them to the nurse, where they are gently assessed and cared for. Students can rest until they feel better, and parents are contacted and further action discussed. Our nurses care for students with both professional skill and empathy.

Every family completes a detailed Student Health Form when joining the school, so our nurses are well informed about allergies, medications, and specific health needs. This allows us to respond quickly and appropriately in any situation.

We maintain a clear head lice policy and collaborate closely with MP Shah Hospital, located just across the road, for emergencies or further medical attention. During major school events and sports days, an ambulance is always on standby, ensuring immediate care if needed.

To strengthen safety awareness, DSN regularly conducts first aid training for teachers, coaches, and students. These sessions help everyone act responsibly and confidently when it matters most.
