Parents Council

The Parent Council plays an important role at the German School Nairobi, building a strong bridge between families and the school. Through open communication, teamwork, and shared commitment, parents contribute to a lively, caring, and forward-looking school community.

Our decentralized structure allows responsibilities to be shared across small working groups and committees – from organizing school events and supporting development projects to contributing ideas for future planning. This way, everyone can bring in their strengths, creativity, and passion.

Regular meetings with the school leadership ensure that parents’ perspectives are heard and represented in key areas such as school development, sustainability, and communication. Parent representatives also participate in important school committees and contribute to discussions shaping the school’s direction and values.
