There was a lot going on on St. Martin's Day. As always, the fourth grade put on a great performance. The kindergarten was very interesting. The children in the audience grabbed their parents' cell phones and filmed the fourth grade. Most of them sang along to the song “Lichterkinder” (Children of Light). The children were even allowed to sit on their parents' shoulders. They all had such beautiful lanterns with them.
The fourth grade started with a welcome dance, followed by a play, and ended with a rendition of the song “Lichterkinder” (Children of Light). After the performance, we walked around the sports field with our lanterns.
Afterwards, there were St. Martin's cookies for everyone. Finally, we were able to just play until we had to go home. It was a great party.
