At the German School Nairobi, development is an ongoing process. We regularly review our teaching and school culture to identify strengths and areas for improvement. Internal feedback, external evaluations, and surveys within our school community guide this work.
Every three years, our school undergoes an interim and full inspection by the Central Office for International School Matters (ZfA) and the Federal States Inspection. The DSN has twice been awarded the seal “Excellent German International School.”
Current priorities include digitalisation, personalised learning, and strengthening German language competences. Projects such as our Atelier format, internal differentiation, and homework-as-schoolwork approach make learning more inclusive and creative.
We are also addressing anti-discrimination and promoting a fair, respectful environment for all. Guided by our Action Plan and School Development Group, we continue to modernise, reflect, and grow — together as a learning community.
